BallfieldsOpen Around The City
More than 800 ballfields open today another sign of spring.
Now if the big weather man in the sky would just play ball.
Wanna play ...
apply online for a ballfield permit at www.nyc.gov/parks. Fields cost $16 for a two-hour session and $32 for lighted games. As always, children under the age of 18 play free and New Yorkers are invited to play a game of pick-up when the fields are not being used.
