Last night, I went out to a new Japanese restaurant, Japonais. This place just opened Wednesday in NYC, but it's a well established spot in Chicago that's been around for a couple years. I must say the food was incredible. I tried a bit of everything on the menu and it was all delicious, the tuna in particular was my favorite and their Japanese Pumpkin cheesecake melts in your mouth.
People are actually comparing Japonais to Morimoto (since many of the staff worked their before), so this place is a definite must. I strongly suggest checking this place out, while you still can a get a reservation.
