K48's Benefit Party & Silent Auction

For her second solo show in New York, Kim Fisher presented eight new large-scale abstract paintings inspired by the phases the waxing and waning of the moon. In Elad Lassry’s untitled super 16mm film, two New York City Ballet dancers perform the last minute of the seminal choreography by George Balanchine for the pas de deux from Agon (1957). Come to these exhibits and take part in a cool party and a great auction…

This year's annual Film & Entertainment sale features a star-studded array of props, costumes, autographed photographs and awards relating to the most important screen icons including Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, Marlon Brando, Vivien Leigh, Clark Gable and Marlene Dietrich.
The centerpiece of the sale is Property from the Estate of Stan Laurel comprising 29 lots highlighted by one of Stan Laurel's trademark bowler hats.
Following Christie's record-breaking sale in London in December 2006 of a black dress made by Givenchy for Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly in Breakfast At Tiffany's, a hot pink cocktail dress that Audrey wore in the same film is also featured in this upcoming auction.
